Another wk had past. 2 1plus more hour and I will be out of my office, to attend my church monthly Pray and Praise.

Tomorrow, I will be having a packed day. I will be attending Shermeen's wedding. She one of the earliest one to get married from my peers. The last time I recalled was she was still this 'blur blur' JC gal struggling between studies and ministry. Now, she is going to be married to this wonderful man. And she is only 24 year old... Wow~! Pretty young.

Her invitation came as a pleasant surprise. It was a month back when I received this sms "I'm getting married on 23rd Nov, are you free to attend? For a moment, I thought I received a wrong sms. I verified with the sender and confirmed it was from the Shermeen I knew 6 years ago. A sister in Christ whom I lost contact when she entered into the University while I still in the Polytechnic. I felt privileged to be invited to her wedding though I barely knew her.

Out of sudden, I remembered she might have lost contact wif alot of us when she moved over to Uni. With her consent, I helped to coordinate with the rest of the gang who she knew. It turned out that there were 8 of us whom she had no contacts wif. Hence, sent out emails to inform the group... everyone was trilled to know her wedding.

Tomorrow, I was be rushing from one place to another. Halfway, through the I need to go off to take my powerboat theory test. Then I will rush back to the wedding again. I think I need to tone down further... Always so busy.

Was interrupted awhile ago to have a durian feast by my colleague. The durians weren't up to standard. Must go to Geylang to have the Sultan, D24... etc. (Burp...~! Excused me of my rudness) Better go and brush my teeth... don't want to go to church and caused people to faint by my durian breath(Evil laughters~!)

Have an wonderful weekend ahead bloggers~!

Stealing some time from my work to blog. Just completed some of my work.

Some updates of what happened yesterday.

Part 1
Went down to meet up wif Tanya to collect another bag for one of my gal friends. The time round I wasn't so rush. I was late coz I wasn't riding these days. It's too dangerous to ride when it rained so heavily the past few days. Before meeting her, went over to Deli France to get her a chocolate pastry. Must reward her for wrapping up the gift and travelling all the way from her home to meet me.

Managed to strike up a little chat with her. Topics revolved a little bit abt her life and mine.

Got seet the design of the bag physically. The fabric used was very chic. This lady is very detail-minded even a wrong knot tied she bothered to make it right. Praise God for this lady. I went off to meet up with my old friends once she was done. While going down the escalator, I realised I didn't pay her for the purchase of the bag. (Forgetful me~!)

Quickly, called her on her mobile to ask for her whereabout. She was still at the same spot admiring the decors and a sparkling lightings hung on the trees in Orchard. I apologised for my forgetfulness. She told me she didn't even realise I didn't pay her. Even if she did she wouldn't mind to give it to me for free because of our friendship.(I'm touched by her kind words~!) I, however, still stick to my principle. Business is business, if you want to repay my friendship treat me to a cup of coffee or a meal will be good enuff.

Bidded her goodbye for a second time.

Part 2
Meet up with my old friends for dinner to welcome back, Darren from his studies in Monsah Uni. All of us had being friends since secondary one. Which is coming to 12 years. One of them was my primary classmate, we knew each other for 16 years. How many of you have friends more than 10 years?

Anyway, we had our dinner at the hawker centre near my place. Good choice. 'Coz the place where I stayed is a food paradise. There are at least 5 Kopitiams and 1 hawker centre at the radius of 200m. Everything here is so convenient. We ordered a spring chicken and some other food to share. I had my hokkien mee while the rest had other very delicious dishes to indulge in.(Burp~! Sorry for my rudness.) Everyone of us are doing quite well on our each individual life.

Oh another good news was Jack got his licence recently. He passed the Traffic Police test the 1st time round. He was also the 1st in the family to be able to drive. Well done, Jack~! Btw, he is also a very handsome guy, has a well-toned body, a swing bachelor.(Any takers? Laughs.) He is consisting getting a 2nd hand car, either Honda or Nissan. Downpayment will be paid by her mum, the rest of the installment he will pay himself. Wow, one lucky guy.

Leaving the two of the five of us still not having any licence. Jun is still too busy to even bother to get his Basic Theory. All of us agreed in unison that he should at least go and obtain his Basic Theory. You never know one day, S'pore may impose new rules that basic theory is valid for 2 years like Advance Theory, Jun was still in his 'bochap' mode... his normal operating mode.(Haiz~!)

Heading to Mac to have our little dessert. I had my all time fav, pineapple pie. Continue our conversation... don't know how come our conversation leaded to 'Sugar Mummy' blah blah blah. Peter commented that he don't mind having one. My God~!(Hello... are you sure?) I told them I was being approached by a more matured lady to be her 'Sugar Boy'. Jack and Darren were startled. While Peter said that I was one lucky guy. Yeah rite... *Shake head* I told under the influence of alcohol and poor visibility, I think the lady approached me. Btw, the lady who approached me was not some old tai tai. She was quite well-dressed and good figured. If I am older than she is, I would have befriend her.(Nah~! I don't think so.)

All of us had a good laugh over the incident. Though Jun was quite mum over this topic. Good thing, I didn't go further to recollect my encounter with a gay approaching me. (I had such interesting life~! Laughs!) Or else I will be the centre of laughters.

Manage to took 2 pics of them. I will upload them once I download into my pc.

Have a good lunch ahead later, fellow bloggers!

The last 2 dayz of power craft course was tremedously exciting. For a person who had experience with driving and riding... it's a totally new experience.

Everyone of us there are all inexperience batch. The age range from maybe 19 to 40plus... all came to learn with different motives but a common goal. Our instructor was Major David. He is a very joyous and friendly guy. He made the whole lesson less boring... Day 1(Yesterday), I learnt abt the Nautical Terms, Equipment, Mechanical & Electrical Equipement, Regulations for Preveting Collisions at Sea, Pleasure Craft Regulations and Singapore Port Regulations.

And all of these are covered in 3~4 months in the Navy. He covered it in 5 hrs of lecture. God~! Somemore, we are equally taught as the sailors. Oh l learned a term which it was very interesting. In the Navy, they refered 'Vessel' as 'Her' or 'She'. Thus, those people male counterparts called themselves, 'Gentlemen'. Isn't it funny. Haiz, how come the Navy din want me 3yrs ago when I wanted to be Navy officer. Or else, I will be a gentleman.(Stupid~!)

In the afternoon, it was pouring cats and dogs. Furthermore, there was lighting. Most of us thought, it was gone case. We can't have our practical. However, it stopped later on in the late afternoon. Because of that we were a hr behind the schedule. Nevertheless, we are still excited that we can still drive the boat. Our instructor for the boat was Major Ong, he was a very patience and funny guy. Though he had retired from the Navy, he still loves the sea. We learnt how to perform rescue for 'Man Overboard'. parking our boat from 'Port Side' and 'Starboard Side'. For me, blessed with knowing how to ride and drive it was quite easy. It required me to have a very good sense of direction... five of us took turns to perform the required lesson. I must say all of us were quite competent. Even for the two ladies on board. After the evening approached, I had the opportunity to park the boat back to the starting bay. It was pretty cool.

Day 2(Today), I learnt abt Charts, Buoys, Beacons & Lighthouses Emergencies and the Hints for Exams. It not easy to read the maps or charts of the Navigation. There were so many things I needed to know. Eg. calculating the longitude and latitude. reconigisng the symbols in the seas.... blah blah blah... it was coverd in the Navy for another 4~5 mths.

In the afternoon, I had to do the revision of yesterday's practical in the test area. It was easy trying to park the boat when the wave and wind is going against your direction. Major David gave me and the rest of the crew some very impt pointers. It really helped us alot. When all of us finished our practical training. We heard for our starting bay. Ha ha~! I got the opportunity to park the boat again. This time rd, I was more competent compared to yesterday nite.

After taking our 5 mins break, we headed to a bigger vessel which will take us to round Seletar Island. Boy~! The vessels were really powerful. We were racing at 18 knots per hr. The feeling of wind blowing across my face was so shiok. I enjoyed this kind of feeling coz it reminded me of freedom. Everyone on board rotate to have control over the boat. When my turn came, i was on cloud nine.

Before we returned back to our training center, we had the opportiunity to stop by a Kelong. The people in the kelong had simple lifestyle. Not like city-landers, who had to worry abt the daily necessarities of life here. We had some coffee prepared by the owner. The coffee was very well brewed.

We bidded the owner goodbye after we toured rd his kelong. The return trip was short. After we alighted from the boat, I headed straight to the admin office to collect my cerf. This cerf however, don't qualify me to drive a speedboat. It only enable me to book my theory test which is next wk. I hoped I can pass the test at one go. Wish me the best~! If I pass, I will be taking my practical test 3~4 wks later.

How is ur wkend bloggers~?

P.S.: Apologised for the long blog. Actually, I wanted to blog more... but I think u guys will fall asleep reading all the technical aspects of the course I attended. :)

P.P.S: Happy Birthday to Ennie & Rainia~!
